A cruise ship is basically a traveler ship that is used for enjoyment trips. In it, the traveling and ship’s facilities offer you the experience of great enjoyment. Chiefly, a cruise ship functions on the routes for returning the travelers to their harbor. In recent times, cruising has emerged as a most important part for tourism.
If we see historically, then we will come to know that cruise ship business has been unstable. A constant decrease in the bookings is not good for the cruise ship business. If a ship is out of work for daily repairs, it bears a loss of a lot of dollars.
Cruise ship Romantic life:-
Life on a cruise ship is always full of romanticism. As a crew member, you will have a chance to meet interesting passengers. Moreover, you can experience the whole world on an unending journey. This life cannot be imagined by any of the travelers.
Crew member’s life on a ship:-
Life on a cruise ship as a crew member is one of the difficult jobs in the world. An awful part of the job is that you are owned by the company. They handle everything that you eat when you eat when you use a toilet, etc. in addition, if they need you then it doesn’t matter if you have labored all day or not. A crew member’s job is too hard that he even not given a chance to sleep properly. Their sleep could be between 5 to 7 hours only.
Enjoyment and Staff:-
For crew members, it is hard to get time for a party. But somehow, sometimes they managed to have parties too. After all, they also wish to live their lives happily. So their parties start at midnight and ends at 3 in the morning. Moreover, when the ship is on seaport then there are plenty of fun tricks for enjoying.
Benefits and conditions of crew members on board:-
As far as their salary is concerned, they are offered with several benefits that involve free room and board. But they have to share the room with one or two crew members. Generally, their rooms are far away from the traveler’s area. They are also provided with the medical care free of cost. Furthermore, the staff also gets chances of going out the port and gets pleasure from different places.
Traveler’s enjoyment:-
Only travelers can have the benefit to see many ports while traveling on a cruise ship. They have a chance to enjoy many natural scenes. There are dining rooms on the ships where you can enjoy breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Experience of Living on a ship:-
Life on a cruise ship is distinctive from the living experience on land. It’s not worthy for everyone. But if you are wanting exploration or some exciting activity and spending just a few months there, then you can go for it. Sea life has its laws and rules that one must have to follow. As you know that captain is the superior grading officer on board so all the crew members are answerable to him. Life on the sea is hard but many people enjoy it too.
My Personal Experience:-
Now I am going to share my small experience on the cruise ship. At first, I became uncomfortable with the ship’s life. But gradually, somehow, I managed. On the ship, I passed through and visited several wonderful places. In Italy, I visited the Tower of Pisa. I saw Rome which was too beautiful. Then I also reached Europe and encountered many amazing places. While working on a ship, it is much difficult to be out of it when it reached seaports. But sometimes I had a chance to go out. Then after returning to the ship, I became sad as I wanted to roam around the ports more. Sometimes I was so exhausted that I wished to have some time for me to relax but again it is impossible to be on a cruise ship and had no work. You have to work there as and when required and cannot question anyone. This thing forced me every time to quit the job here. But then again after making a mind, did my work sincerely.
There is no doubt in it that I enjoyed all the beautiful places and scenes there but the work was so hard and exhausting that I decided to leave the job. I am very thankful for all the experiences and the relations that I gained from the ship. After that, I only made the voyage on the ships but never thought to work there.
Weather of the Ocean:-
Weather is always irregular on the sea. Storms, rough water, high winds, can come in no time. So living on a ship is an exciting and thrilling way of life.
Summation:-
It is a fact that living on a cruise ship is hard but the most important thing to be comfortable with its environment and work is adjustable. Initially, it is hard but slowly you will be used to it and can enjoy living there. Mostly, the workers are satisfied with their jobs on a ship because of having such great benefits.
