One of the best places I like is Istanbul due to its fascinating culture and its delicious food. Not only this, the streets are walkable enough, the tall and old trees are all seemed like telling stories, the mild weather all makes Istanbul a fascinating place. Now I am going to tell you about the most favorite places I like in Istanbul and due to these places Istanbul is one of my favorite cities in the world.
AYA SOFYA:
You can say Hagia Sofia as the Istanbul’s much important landmark. Once it was a cathedral then it becomes a mosque and now the centuries has moved it to a museum. But it doesn’t matter. Whatever its history was, it has beautiful minarets like other Istanbul’s mosques. I also like chandeliers here because these are enough romantic and elegant. I must say that you have to visit this place and one thing I want to add here is that it is most likely to go in the early morning for making good pictures and lots of memories.
THE BLUE MOSQUE:
When you will look at this mosque you will be amazed at its beautiful art and design. One thing you must kept in your mind that during prayer time you can’t visit that place. So for visitors, it is recommended to make a plan carefully.
KARADENIZ:
Karadeniz is my favorite restaurant in Istanbul as I love to eat juicy kebabs and this is the best place in Turkey to have such a juicy dish. Well everyone has its own likes and dislikes and that’s why in turkey there are different types of kebabs like stick kebabs, dough kebabs, baked kebabs. My favourite dish is Iskander kebab as I told you above that these are the juicy meat pieces with bread served with butter tomato sauce along with yogurt and peppers. It’s sound so yummy.
TURK OCAGI:
It’s a hookah cafe and you will find this cafe in an old cemetery as it is hidden from the street area. When you will enter into the cafe you will not feel that you are in a cemetery. Trust me. You can enjoy this place very much. You may take coffee, tea, juice or any type of flavored tobacco as you like. You will enjoy this place seriously.
GRAND BAZAAR | DHOKU:
Well, one of the best thing about this city is that bargaining is a cultural history of this city. Dhoku is the grand bazaar of Istanbul and I would love to do shopping here as it is my favorite hobby as well. Viewing a different kind of unique, interesting, delicate and shiny items is love.
HARS:
I found this place so amusing to shop some Turkish towels as I really like the stuff and quality. When you enter into the Hars you will see a rainbow like a shelf there having all size towels with beautiful colors. I was so convinced to buy these towels for myself because I love this shop and their products too.
I must say that you should visit Istanbul once in your lifetime. Spend your holidays here with your family and friends and make beautiful memories over here.
